    An informant had provided probable cause for the search by conducting a "controlled buy" of crack cocaine from Morena and testified at trial that he had twice seen Morena with the shotgun, according to the opinion. Morena's defense to the charge was to claim that George Mushinsky, the registered owner of the shotgun, had lived in Morena's house and concealed the shotgun there while Morena was in jail on a probation violation, according to the opinion.     Martin and Kellie Hicks filed the lawsuit last year contending that on the evening of Sept. 7, 2006, at least six Butte police officers pointed guns at them, "manhandled" and restrained them and searched their home at 2032 Locust St. without probable cause or a search warrant.
