    Suspended Schenectady police officers Eric Reyell, Andrew Karaskiewicz and Gregory Hafensteiner reported to county court this morning to be arraigned on counts of official misconduct.     Jackson Co. sheriff pleads guilty in assault case  Sep 4, 2008
    Earlier, Bean had pleaded not guilty to 13 counts of official misconduct, two counts of sexual contact with an inmate and three counts of sexual battery, all stemming from incidents at the county jail and sheriff's office in Gainesboro. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said previously that Bean and other deputies had been sexually engaged with as many as 10 inmates since 2005. (WREG.com, TN)

    Palin's abrupt dismissal of Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan is now being investigated by a special counsel hired by the Alaska Legislature as to whether there was any official misconduct. The Legislature is spending up to $100,000 "to investigate the circumstances and events surrounding the termination of former Public Safety Commissioner Monegan, and potential abuses of power and/or improper actions by members of the executive branch.".     Jerry Angus, 53, was indicted by a Nashville grand jury in September on three counts of official misconduct, nine counts of sexual battery by an authority figure, four counts of statutory rape by an authority figure and one count of rape.
