A Norcross man was sentenced Friday to six back-to-back life sentences plus 211 years for his role in "one of the most brutal and heinous crime sprees" ever to occur in Gwinnett County, prosecutors said. FORT PIERCE With the death penalty off the table, a judge Friday imposed the maximum sentence for a Port St. Lucie man who killed his ex-girlfriend and then burned her body: back-to-back life sentences plus 70 years. The same jury that convicted Coleman "Fred" Sule, 53, of first-degree murder, burglary and arson in the August 2003 death of Dorene Domato also recommended that he be spared the death penalty and be given a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
